an Italian-Hungarian motion designer who loves telling stories with movement. I see animation as a collaborative process, which is why I love partnering with marketing and product teams to transform their ideas into dynamic experiences—on social media or any other medium.
When I’m not animating, you can find me out on a hike with my family, enjoying a freshly brewed cup of matcha tea, or playing with our cats in the backyard.
It all started with my souvenir business, Dolfoart. Since 2013, I’ve been creating pen-and-ink designs that capture the spirit of my beloved city, Budapest. What began as a tiny local venture soon grew into one of the city’s most recognizable design gift brands. Today, my wife Zita and I manage Dolfoart together, and our products can be found in more than 20 shops across Budapest—from the Liszt Ferenc Airport lounge to the gift shop at the Hilton Hotel, and many places in between. As a seasoned brand owner, I’ve worked with a wide network of partners, printers, suppliers, and customers.
Over the years, I’ve also learned graphic design, and from 2016 started collaborating with a variety of clients, including local Agencies, startups or even big brands like Bosch or Durex.
My fascination with motion design ignited in 2016, inspired by the mesmerizing short films of Réka Bucsi. Ever since, I’ve been honing my skills in this art form, blending my love for film, music, graphics, communication, and technology. Every project is a new adventure, an opportunity to push the boundaries of what’s possible in motion design.
In late 2019, I began working full-time as a freelance motion designer. Since then, I’ve completed over a hundred projects for clients locally, across Europe, and in the United States. I have ongoing partnerships with brands like Mixbook, Rossmann, Wallis Asset Management, Supercharge, and many more.
Looking ahead to 2025, I plan to focus exclusively on 2D motion design and interaction design using Rive, saying “no” to other types of work so I can truly excel in these areas. I’m also continuously monitoring emerging AI trends and integrating promising new tools into my workflow, ensuring speedy delivery, top-quality production, and seamless communication.
My latest shift was meant to boost my deep work habits: I’ve moved all my notes, second brain, and concept development over to a reMarkable device. It’s already helping mea lot to stay focused and spend more time creating instead of getting lost in distractions.
